Common questions FAQ

How do I set a Skyshift scene as my wallpaper?
Open a scene, tap to preview it full-screen, then use the save/share control to add it to Photos and set it from Settings → Wallpaper. Home-screen widgets are added from the widget gallery on your Home Screen.
Do the wallpapers really change through the day?
Yes — most scenes are drawn in code and follow your device clock, shifting from dawn to golden hour to a starry night in real time. Nothing is downloaded; it’s all generated on-device.
Will Skyshift drain my battery or use data?
Skyshift makes no network requests and runs animation only while you’re viewing a scene in the app. A static wallpaper saved to Photos uses no extra power at all.
Does Skyshift need an account or internet connection?
No account, no sign-in, and it works fully offline.

Skyshift does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no network requests. Everything happens on your device.

Information collected

None. Skyshift has no sign-in, no user profiles, and no server. It does not access your contacts, location, photos metadata, identifiers, or usage data.

How your content is handled

Wallpapers are generated locally on your device and, if you choose to save one, are written to your own Photos library by iOS. Skyshift never uploads or transmits anything.

Third parties

Skyshift contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with anyone, because none is collected.

Children

Skyshift is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
